Our project consists in create a multidiscipline acrobatic lessons that will include: gymnastics, pole dance, pole fitness, dance, yoga, pilates, flexibility and core work for young people, vulnerable collectives and mothers or fathers with their babies. The project is an open collective learning space.
Our project, called “Acrobatic Therapy”, is all about creating a space where people from different backgrounds, abilities, and walks of life can come together and explore the world of acrobatics. But we’re not just talking about flips and high-level stunts. This is a place where we mix gymnastics, pole dance, pole fitness, dance, yoga, pilates, flexibility work, and core training all combined to create a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment. It’s designed as an open, collective learning space where young people, parents with their babies, and individuals from vulnerable or marginalized groups can move, grow, and simply feel good, without fear of judgment or pressure.
We believe our project is simple and powerful, anyone can enjoy and benefit from acrobatic movement, no matter their age, physical condition, or past experience. As we like to say, “You don’t need to be Nadia Comăneci to enjoy the magic of acrobatics.” Our goal is to adapt each exercise so that every person, no matter their starting point, can feel the joy, confidence, and pride that comes from achieving something they never thought possible. We want people to walk into this space and think, “I can do this.”
Our project is offering safe space to minorities that find difficult to get time or space to practice exercises. Like parents with newborn or with babies. Our project challenges the idea that sports and acrobatics are only for the strongest, youngest, or most flexible. Instead, it opens the doors wide for everyone for those who want to move their bodies, relieve stress, feel stronger, or simply connect with others in a safe, supportive environment. It’s a space where being imperfect is perfect, where every little progress is celebrated, and where moving together builds not just strength, but community and hope.

The expected benefits of Terapia acrobática are diverse and holistic, addressing both physical and emotional dimensions of well-being.. Beyond the physical advantages, the practice contributes to reduced stress levels and improved emotional balance, which are essential for overall mental health. Furthermore, it fosters social interaction and strengthens bonds, particularly between mothers and their babies, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. In short,we wanted to offer an innovative and integrative approach to promoting physical and emotional well-being among mothers, fathers with babies, and adults over the age of 18.
The project wass designed with clear objectives aimed at addressing the specific needs of the participants. It seeked to improve flexibility and mobility through a structured series of guided stretches that are carefully adapted to accommodate different age groups and varying physical conditions. In parallel, we put strong emphasis on promoting self-care and relaxation by incorporating breathing exercises and techniques aimed at alleviating stress and anxiety. This dual focus ensured that participants are not only physically engaged but also emotionally supported, enhancing the overall impact of the intervention.
