GEGED (Türkiye), in cooperation with Asociación Socio-Cultural Verdesur Alcalá (Spain), Agdz Volunteers (Morocco), and ASED (Tunisia), continues the implementation of the project “Give a Chance! – Glocalizing the Youth Work through Social Entrepreneurship in Euro-Med.”
As part of this initiative, the Mentorship Training was successfully held in Alcalá la Real, Spain, from 29 June to 5 July 2024. The training brought together seven mentors from Turkey, Spain, Tunisia, and Morocco, four project coordinators representing the same countries, and one trainer from Spain for an intensive five-day programme.
The primary goal of the training was to equip youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to act as mentors for young people who are developing their own social entrepreneurship projects. Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and collaborative discussions, participants strengthened their capacity to guide and support youth-led initiatives across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The project runs from 1 November 2023 to 30 October 2024 and is co-financed by EACEA under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the Field of Youth Programme, project number 101131320.
This milestone reflects the project’s commitment to empowering youth through mentorship, intercultural collaboration, and sustainable social entrepreneurship.
