After the inspiring journey in Morocco with @giveachanceeumed, we are excited to begin a new chapter in Gaziantep. This project focuses on revitalizing the city’s unique cultural heritage while blending it with the creativity and energy of local youth. By reusing leftover carpets, we will design and produce innovative items such as bags, runners, bracelets, and wall decorations.
More than a production process, this initiative is about empowerment and sustainability. Selected young people from Gaziantep will have the opportunity to develop new skills, strengthen their creativity, and generate sustainable income. Every piece created will not only reflect craftsmanship but also carry forward cultural stories, ensuring that traditions are preserved and reimagined for the present.
Through this process, participants will experience the excitement of transforming ideas into tangible products, while fostering pride in local heritage. The project highlights the power of combining tradition with innovation to create opportunities for growth and social impact.
