At the Gaziantep Final Evaluation Meeting of our Give a Chance project, we held an open area event where we brought together the projects of our young participants with the local people
In this event, the local people learned about our project, got to know the social entrepreneurship projects and products implemented by our project participants, and had the opportunity to participate in the cultural sharing event with activities reflecting the cultures of our project partner countries (dance, food, music and more).
The open area event was held with the support of the Gaziantep Youth Center, located in Gaziantep and a stakeholder of @gegedorg.
At the Final Evaluation Meeting of our Give a Chance project in Gaziantep, we organized an open area event designed to connect our participants’ projects with the local community. This gathering provided an excellent platform to exhibit the work developed throughout the project and to create a space where local residents could directly engage with the outcomes achieved by the young participants.
During the event, the community had the opportunity to discover the social entrepreneurship projects and products designed and implemented by our participants. This exchange not only increased visibility for the initiatives but also enabled meaningful interactions between young entrepreneurs and the public, offering real-life feedback and encouragement.
In addition to project presentations, the open area event featured a cultural sharing component where traditions and practices from our partner countries were presented. Through dance, food, music, and other cultural activities, participants showcased the richness of their backgrounds and promoted intercultural dialogue among the attendees.
The event was made possible with the valuable support of the Gaziantep Youth Center, a key stakeholder of @gegedorg. Thanks to this collaboration, more than 100 young people from the center were able to participate, learn, and engage with the activities.
This gathering not only highlighted the achievements of our participants but also reinforced the project’s goals of youth empowerment, intercultural exchange, and the promotion of social entrepreneurship. It served as a powerful reminder of the impact that collaboration, creativity, and cultural diversity can have in shaping sustainable and innovative youth-led projects.
More than 100 young people from the Gaziantep Youth Center had the chance to benefit from this event.
