Sustain the Change training in Spain, implemented in 15-20 June 2025 as part of the wider Give a Chance Programme, has been successfully delivered under the Erasmus+ Youth Capacity Building framework. Bringing together youth workers from Spain, Turkey, Morocco, and Tunisia, the training aimed to enhance the capacity of organisations and professionals working with young people by strengthening their competences in social entrepreneurship and programme development. Structured across five intensive days, the training combined theoretical sessions with applied non-formal methods designed to foster experiential learning. Participants were introduced to the Give a Chance structure and engaged in reflection exercises related to expectations, fears, and learning objectives. The programme incorporated practical tools such as the Give a Chance Canvas, SWOT analysis, and SMART objectives, enabling youth workers to translate ideas into structured social entrepreneurship programmes. Sessions further included long-term programme development, examples of youth-led projects in Spain, and national-level planning for social entrepreneurship support structures.
One of the notable components was the NGO Fair, which facilitated partner search, networking, and exchange of good practices among organisations from the Euro-Med region. The final day addressed fundraising mechanisms for NGOs and supported participants in preparing realistic action plans to sustain their future programmes. Throughout the training, collaborative workshops, peer learning, and reflective discussions promoted strong intercultural dialogue and reinforced cooperation among diverse youth organisations.
The training concluded with tangible outputs such as programme drafts, fundraising strategies, and new cross-border cooperation ideas, contributing to more effective, innovative, and sustainable youth work practices across the region.
