On 13 June 2025, the Demo Day Spain / Project Presentations of the Give a Chance programme was successfully held at the Red Conference Room of the Youth Building in Alcalá la Real. The event gathered project participants, mentors, local stakeholders, and members of the community to showcase the results of youth-led entrepreneurial and social projects developed throughout the programme.

The day began with a coffee reception and poster exhibition at 10:30, where attendees had the opportunity to network and explore visual presentations of the participating projects. This informal session created a welcoming environment and set the stage for the official programme.

At 11:00, Antonio de la Torre, mentor of Give a Chance, officially opened the event, followed by an introduction of the Verdesur Association by local coordinator Estíbaliz Moure. Shortly after, the association’s president, Mariano Zamora, offered a welcome address, highlighting the importance of supporting youth entrepreneurship and social innovation in the local context. Antonio de la Torre then provided a brief but impactful explanation of Give a Chance, outlining its objectives, methodology, and achievements.

The central part of the agenda was dedicated to project presentations, where young entrepreneurs presented their initiatives and outcomes.

  • El Olivo y la Rosa was introduced by José López, featuring a remote contribution from María López.
  • Sport for All was presented by Carlos Herrador and Daniel Contreras, showcasing inclusive sports activities.
  • Agropelink was shared by Zakaryae Abechar and Julio Nadal, focusing on sustainable agriculture and direct farmer-consumer connections.
  • Terapia Acrobática, led by María Bolivar, introduced innovative therapeutic practices through acrobatics.
  • Rising Sport, presented remotely by Marco Antonio Hinojosa and Jesús Flores, highlighted opportunities for youth engagement through sport.

Following the project showcases, the audience was inspired by a motivational talk, “We are All Heroes”, delivered by Noelia Zuheros, who emphasized resilience, creativity, and the collective power of young people to drive positive change.

The event concluded with a cocktail reception and poster exhibition from 13:00 to 14:00, allowing participants and guests to continue exchanging ideas, networking, and celebrating the accomplishments of the projects.

Overall, Demo Day Spain served as a vibrant platform to exhibit the creativity, innovation, and impact of young entrepreneurs involved in Give a Chance. It also strengthened connections between participants, mentors, and the local community, reinforcing the programme’s contribution to youth empowerment and sustainable development.
